Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Fabrication Supervisor to join our well-established and growing company. This position will oversee our fabrication team and ensure that all projects are completed with the highest level of precision and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of our fabrication shop, including supervising all shop employees, managing workflow, and ensuring safety and compliance with all company and regulatory standards. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the fabrication shop, including scheduling, production, and workflow management.
- Supervise, mentor, and train fabrication shop employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Review and interpret project blueprints and specifications, ensuring all projects are completed accurately and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage all aspects of the CNC, lathe, and mill operations, including programming, setup, and operation.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring all shop employees are working in a safe and compliant manner.
- Continuously evaluate and improve fabrication processes and procedures, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fabrication supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with gd&t, mill, lathe, and CNC operations.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team, with a strong focus on training and development.
- Excellent understanding of fabrication processes, procedures, and safety standards.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
