Happy Hounds Dog Care Center in Longmont, CO, is looking to hire a Front Desk Receptionist to assist our clients and perform essential administrative duties around the office. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECEPTIONIST

In this position, you help keep our office running smoothly and efficiently. Every day, you ensure that our clients and their adorable dogs have the best experience possible. You greet each client with a smile, making them feel comfortable leaving their pet in our capable hands. Highly motivated and efficient, you complete a variety of important tasks, including answering phones, providing excellent customer service, making reservations, lots of client follow-up, managing retail inventory as well as processing invoices, payments, and enrollments.

Always flexible, you also complete various administrative duties as they arise and take pride in maintaining our reception and retail area. Willingness to help out our Dog Care Services team as needed, with tasks such as prepping meals, prepping medications, and other general light-duty dog care tasks. You find great joy in working with animals each day and in providing fantastic service to our clients!

Typical Reception Shift Times (Weekend Availability is Required):

• Weekday Shifts: 6am - 12:30pm and/or 1:30pm - 7pm
• Saturday Shifts: 7:30am - 1pm and/ or 1pm - 6:30pm
• Sunday Shifts:7:30am - 11am and/ or 2pm - 6:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RECEPTIONIST

• Leadership skills, including the ability to train others
• Deep love for animals
• 1+ years of experience providing customer service and processing payments
• Must be physically able to handle dog breeds of all sizes.
• Must be willing to help out the team with other tasks as needed.
• Vast knowledge of dog behaviors is preferred.

A high school diploma/GED is required. Good math and selling skills would also be beneficial. Do you have good communication skills, both verbal and written?
