Job Summary:
Heavenly warehouse is looking for a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys the work hard and play hard mountain lifestyle. As Assistant General Manager of the warehouse, you will be leading a team of 10 to 15 in swing-shift logistics operaration allowing you to ski and ride during the day to your heart's content. Managing you and your team on the daily product deliveries on the mountain will be accomplished with knowledge of the mountain, the tools and equipment, as well as, administrative skills. Safety and your Team will be your top priority at all times, as you will be responsible for moving up 15+ pallets and kegs across a varied terrain through many types of weather and surface conditions to their destination storage areas. + Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round 10 Month Winters FT Swing Shift (Afternoon to Evening), weekends, reverts to Dayshift for Summer operation
+ Pay Range starts at $25, Actual pay will be adjusted on experience
Job Responsibilities:
+ This is a Swing Shift position with work hours occurring in the afternoon and evening
+ Maintaining required coaching and discipline for your Team
+ Compliance with all safety initiatives, including proper reporting with corporate, state and Federal regulatory agencies
+ Compliance with required yearly training for yourself and your Team
+ Communicate professionally across numerous departments
+ Compile comprehensive night reports, detailing products delivered to each location
+ Completing schedules for your team, including accurate Time and Labor
+ Planning and execution of daily product logistics from lower mountain to upper mountain lodges
+ Properly arranging, loading and securing pallets of goods
+ Working with appropriate departments to arrange product/people moving equipment, such as Haul Cats, People movers, snowmobiles, UTVs and trucks
+ Properly distributing products to destination lodge storage areas, such as walk-in coolers, freezers and dry storage areas and maintaining a log of deliveries
+ Maintaining personal and Team safety at all times
+ Utilize proper receiving and invoice processing to ensure prompt payment of vendor accounts
+ Ensuring you and your team have and utilize all appropriate PPE for the tasks at hand, including but not limited to; hard toe boots, boot chains, gloves, safety harnesses, and others
Job Qualifications:
_Required:_
+ Valid Driver’s License and Medical Card with clean 7 yr MVR (no DUIs)
+ Ability to get certified and operate Snow Cats, Snowmobiles, UTVs and Box with lift gate within 30 days, as well as any other necessary equipment.
+ Flexible schedule, evenings, swing shift and holidays.
+ Ability to professionally navigate and use Microsoft Office Suite and other web-based or app-based software platforms such as;
+ Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and others
+ COUPA purchasing
+ Planful financial software
+ Avero revenue tracking
+ Time and Labor software
+ Scheduling software
+ Ability to hand lift, move and position up to 50 pounds, as well as lift, move and position larger loads with appropriate equipment while observing safety regulations
+ Ski/Snowboard with a level 6 certification
+ Working in a variety of environments including active winter weather
+ Maintaining and displaying positive intent in all situations
_Preferred:_
+ Ability to operate Large equipment, such as a snowcat for hauling product up the mountain, UTVs, snowmobiles and other snow transport, with valid, required State or Federal operator licenses and medical clearances
+ A good understanding of Logistics and moving large quantities of product up a mountain with various forms of transport including gondolas, Trams, box trucks, snow transport machines as well as hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts.
+ Comprehensive leadership skills that embrace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives within the company by combining a responsible, mature HR compliant skill set with company-provided training initiatives
+ Ability to manage a team of 10 to 15 EEs while moving product over various terrains, including a variety of snow and ice conditions, while maintaining all points of safety requirements from corporate, state or Federal agecies, such as CalOSHA or OSHA
+ Ski/Snowboard with a level 8 certification
The expected pay range is $25 - $28.94. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
