POSITION: Busser
FLSA: Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor
SUMMARY: The responsibility of the busser is to assist the wait staff is in providing efficient, friendly and professional service of food and beverage. The busser must perform all side work and prep work related to that service. As well as clear tables quickly and efficiently so that next guest may be sat.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Greet customers, establish rapport, and identify specific needs, time constraints and dining expectations.
- Exceed customer expectations, seek their return visit and/or recommendation to friends.
- Complete assigned side work at beginning and end of shift.
- Check stock and service ware levels and do requisition.
- Pre-check all items ordered and receive valid payment from customer. Make sure all accounting procedures are correct, ie. Proper credit card or room charge information.
- Execute effective use/ management of company resources.
Skill & Abilities in:
- The busser needs good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all guests, co-workers, supervisors, back of house, management etc.
- They must have the ability to learn product knowledge, have a good appearance and a pleasant personality.
- The position requires the need to accept a flexible work schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings.
High school diploma OR GED.
