GENERAL FUNCTION

The EssilorLuxottica Full-Time internship spans 10 weeks in the summer (with opportunities to extend Part-Time during the academic year) and allows you to become fully immersed into EssilorLuxottica and its brands. You will perform meaningful work that delivers real impact, take part in learning and career development sessions, and experience one-on-one mentorship and interactive networking events.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the IT team and work closely with other departments.
• Learn from IT team members about the technology usage in achieving the organizational objectives.
• Learn best practices in automating test cases in a leading, codeless automation scripting tool.
• Assist in the creation and execution of test automation test scripts for multiple applications.
• Identify opportunities for improvement for existing automation scripts.
• Drive consistency in automation scripting, execution and reporting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Seeking a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field of study.
• Available for the full 10-week program, 40 hours per week.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required on the first day of employment.
• Ability to learn new applications, including the creation of data, to implement the automation capabilities.
• Ability to manually test applications and effectively be able to understand if the applications function as expected.
• Ability to troubleshoot to identify if issues are due to the script or are true defects.
• Experience with SQL for data selection and light scripting knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, maturity and good judgment.
• Desire to learn new skills, applications.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and evaluate priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous internship or work experience in similar functions/business units.
• Leadership roles on campus and/or community involvement.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
