Extreme Network Engineer - ITARMI

We are looking for Network engineer well versed in Extreme Networks ( Fluent in both VDX 6740 and X695 switches. )(, to complete the following work on site 

The scope includes network access setup, switch configuration, and implementation support for the upgrade from VDX 6700 to X695 switches 

1. Initial Access and Discovery: 

Establish remote access to the environment.

Validate administrative-level access for all switches:

Existing VDX 6700 switches (Maitland & Colo).

New X695 switches (Maitland & Colo).

2. Configuration of New X695 Switches: 

C configuration of the new X695 switches, including:

Firmware upgrade of X695 switches.

Initial (base) configuration of X695 switches.

Implement configuration actions unique/specific to the X695 switches.

Configuration conversion: A direct, 1-to-1 conversion of the existing VOSS configuration (VDX 6740) to EXOS (X695) where possible.

3. Implementation Support: 

Iimplementation support, providing:

Remote support to FFVA personnel during the cutover from VDX 67XX switches to X695 switches.

Onsite support during the cutover, as specified in the upcoming change order.

This scope ensures that the necessary steps are taken to configure, validate, and implement the X695 switches, facilitating a smooth transition from the legacy VDX switches.
