We are seeking a driven individual to join us as a Life Insurance Wholesaler, focusing on the Great Lakes Region. In this pivotal role, you will cultivate and nurture relationships with Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs), Brokerage General Agencies (BGAs), and Producer Groups across IL, IN, MI, OH, KY, and TN. Your primary objective will be to bolster sales efforts within the independent and national broker/dealer channels, contributing to territory production, penetration rates, and product diversity.

Role Impact:
As an External Wholesaler - Life Insurance, your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Cultivating proactive sales relationships with financial professionals in the Great Lakes region through continuous profiling, relationship-building, and refinement of our professional network.
- Executing targeted activities and territory management strategies with IMOs, BGAs, and Producer Groups to capitalize on opportunities and drive sales growth.
- Sharing insights, best practices, and success stories with the broader team to foster collective learning and improvement.
- Collaborating effectively with new business and underwriting teams to address escalations and prioritize activities in the territory, ensuring goal attainment.
- Monitoring territory activities to align with overarching company objectives and performance metrics.
- Efficiently managing travel and expense budgets to optimize resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in life insurance wholesale distribution.
- 2+ years of experience in an external wholesaling role.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales results within assigned territories.
- Proficiency across all channels of life insurance distribution is advantageous.
- Valid State Life and Health License.
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 certifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Compensation: Competitive base salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, complemented by sales-based incentives (targeted at 65%-75% of total wages).
