About the Job:
- Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, evaluating electronic components, circuits, firmware, software for electronic equipment.
- Assesses equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
- Selects components and equipment based on analysis specifications and reliability.
- Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems/projects where assessment of situations or data requires in depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Exercises significant judgement within broadly defined policies and practices to arrive at best method of accomplishing tasks and achieving targets.
- Oversees and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross functional initiatives. May provide mentoring and guidance to peers and juniors.
- Acts as subject matter expert in providing direction and guidance to process improvements and policy matters. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.
- Designs, assesses, develops, modifies and evaluates electrical/electronic parts, components, sub-systems, algorithms, or integrated circuitry for electrical/electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
- Conducts feasibility studies, design margin and validation analyses and empirical testing on new and modified designs.
- Assists in architecture development and assessment.
- Evaluates reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques used in production.
- May directly support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication.
How You'll Make Your Mark
- Power DC-DC architect for server/storage CPU/GPU/DDR and peripherals multi-phase/single phase DC-DC voltage regulators.
- Design and Develop Mother Board and Peripheral Board Power Solutions for Servers, Storage and Networking Products.
- Main focus being single-phase and multi-phase DC-DC converters, Protection, Monitoring, and Reporting Circuits
- Work with solution suppliers, ODMs and Power Supply manufacturers to identify, implement and sustain power solutions
- Oversee multiple project teams of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of electrical hardware design and development for complex products, solutions, and platforms, including design, validation, tooling and testing.
- Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
- Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality.
- Provides domain-specific expertise and overall electrical/electronic hardware and platform leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
- Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the electrical hardware design organization.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
About You:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10 or more years experience.
- Using electrical design tools and software packages. Cadence Allegro Viewer, VR test tool, SIMPLIS simulation preferred
- DC-DC converter technology design and development experience
- Excellent assessment and problem solving skills.
- Experience in overall architecture of electronic hardware for products and solutions.
- Designing and integrating electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms into overall architecture.
- Evaluating and proposing forms of empirical assessment, modeling and testing methodologies to validate component, circuit, and hardware designs and thermal/emissions management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.

Annual Salary: $111,000.00 - $255,500.00
