Primary Position Description:
We are seeking an energetic, passionate, and highly motivated candidate that will oversee a portion of ABM’s national event portfolio, own and manage ABM’s strategic experiential marketing assets and platform, and assist with the coordination, management, and execution of a number of internal events. This position will work in tandem with the Experiential Marketing Team and Corporate Marketing Strategy Team, as well as the as well as the greater Corporate Marketing, Sales, and Operations organizations across ABM. This individual will manage and coordinate key elements of the event lifecycle for ABM national events including, but not limited to, event strategy and messaging, creating and executing detailed logistic plans, driving demand generation, overseeing internal and external communications, cultivating and strengthening relationships with stakeholders, and partners, event analytics, reporting, and reconciliation, social media strategy, brand recognition, hospitality, etc. This position will work to help ensure ABM’s event plan and brand messaging are aligned to growth strategy, and reporting metrics are captured as part of integrated marketing efforts. This individual will also manage ABM’s strategic experiential marketing assets, their distribution and utilization, corresponding data and reporting, build a strategic approach to future assets, and work closely with external partners to ensure the utilization of the assets is optimized and streamlined.
The Experiential Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director of Experiential Marketing and the position will be located in Atlanta, GA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a portion of the ABM annual national event portfolio including tradeshows, conferences, media-invited events, hospitality events, client events, webinars, association events, association speaking engagements, thought leadership opportunities, education sessions, etc.
- Create and execute detailed logistics plan for each event.
- Manage and execute a detailed budget for each event with timely post-event reconciliation.
- Organize and oversee planning sessions with members of the Brand, Communications, and Corporate Marketing Strategy teams to gain and ensure alignment on the strategy, content, messaging, and goals of each event.
- Provide timely and clear communication regarding event programs to all stakeholders, including briefing documents, logistics, metrics and data information, etc.
- Develop and execute strategic social media content plans.
- Manage lead tracking, ROI measurement, and other event data analytic metrics.
- Prepare event recaps and performance documentation to evaluate event impact and prioritization of future events.
- Work closely with industry marketing managers and the larger marketing organization to hone demand generation methods around each event.
- Oversee the development and execution of trade association thought leadership opportunities in coordination with trade shows including education sessions, articles, advertorials, and panels.
- Secure speaking opportunities for ABM at various events and conferences.
- Generate ideas to further advance the ABM brand and elevate brand recognition.
- Facilitate program-related preparation and training sessions to ensure all involved team members are aligned to the objectives, responsibilities, and expectations of the event in which they are taking part.
- Engage with leaders in the sales and operations organizations through clear and regular communication to ensure each event is meeting their greater goals.
- Work closely with the Communications team to provide content for press releases and other newsworthy information surrounding an event.
- Support and strengthen relationships with partners, vendors, trade associations, and stakeholders.
- Manage concurrent projects of differing sizes and complexities.
- Ensure ABM’s brand guidelines are followed in all aspects of event execution.
- Own and manage the ABM Experiential Marketing asset platform including the utilization and distribution of assets, importation of newly acquired assets, etc.
- Work closely with leadership across the organization to keep them aware of assets available to them and curate custom experiences for them.
- Manage reporting and data including monthly reports and quarterly updates for leadership.
Required Skills:
Primary job responsibilities will require well developed skills in the following areas:
- 2-3+ years of event management experience.
- 2+ years of B2B marketing experience.
- Must have experience taking the lead role in managing large scale events.
- Must have a working understanding of trade show elements and their execution.
- Must have experience planning and executing hospitality and client-facing events.
- Must have experience working on concurrent, fast-paced projects.
- Self-starter, proactive, and able to work independently, while also thriving in a collaborative environment.
- Need strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Psychology, Marketing, Public Relations, or Business Administration required.
Computer Skills
- Exceptional skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Adobe Suite experience preferred
- Digital asset management experience a plus
- Experience working with external platforms preferred
Travel Requirements: 25%-35% travel is expected to attend a number of our annual events including trade shows, conferences, other national events, and for training purposes.
