Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of Veterinary Medicine Experience, specifically in Emergency, Surgery, or Speciality practice.
- Knowledge of animal care and nursing, especially critical care
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and terminology•Knowledge of the equipment and materials used and their availability and applications.
- Comfort running the floor and manage clinic flow for inpatient and outpatient circumstances
- Qualified candidates are excellent communications and multi-taskers, who are able to work independently, and as part of a team. They should be detail oriented and able to provide exceptional customer service and professional client communication.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- CVT preferred but not required
- Evening shifts and Weekend Shifts required
Duties:
- Veterinary Technicians handle in person, email and telephone interaction, maintenance of veterinary medical records, reviewing recommended treatments and procedures, as well as, discuss discharge and after-care with owners.
- Provide coaching and training to team-mates•Administer medications, treatments per DVM instruction, documenting all steps within PM software
- Respond quickly and calmly to crisis while maintaining a high standard of client care
- Communication: Convey messages to clients and teammates to ensure successful patient and client care

This position participates in weekend and holiday rotations.
