HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

Here are our operating hours:

• Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

Our Experienced Veterinary Tech is a crucial part of our daily operations, and you have a direct hand in successfully delivering high-quality animal care! Alongside our friendly team and talented doctors, you help prepare surgery rooms, assist during various procedures, and complete a wide range of patient care tasks. Treating every pet with love and care, you take X-rays, place IVs and catheters, perform venipuncture, and safely restrain them during appointments.

When you're not performing hands-on animal care, you're at our front desk cheerfully completing duties like answering phones, scheduling appointments, and updating pet health records. You keep owners updated on their pet's status, and you educate them about common health concerns and at-home care tips. Keeping our facility well-maintained, you also help clean enclosures, feed animals, walk dogs, and wash laundry.

OUR IDEAL EXPERIENCED VETERINARY TECH

We'd prefer a candidate with some experience assisting during surgery. Experience taking X-rays, performing dental prophylaxis, or using Shepherd software would be a bonus. We can train you on what you need to know! You just need to meet these minimum requirements:

• Veterinary technician experience
• Well-rounded knowledge of patient care, including exams, surgeries, dental services, and hospitalized cases
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. and work on your feet most of the day
• Ability to safely restrain animals and take blood samples
• Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills
