Technical and Creative | Serve as an internal consultant to clients

This role will allow you to exercise your technical abilities while engaging with clients by expressing your creativity for software solutions for a myriad of clients. More specifically, you will consult with customers to help define, implement and exercise creative solutions throughout their manufacturing process. Additionally, you will provide training that elevates clients’ ability to maximize the implemented solutions. You’ll even have the opportunity to work directly with the marketing department in creating content that will enhance our customers’ knowledge base; this truly is a unique position!

This role will work out of a home office and will require travel in CA, CO, and Houston markets.
Responsibilities:- Maintain current knowledge and certifications of Solidworks
- Provide technical support to customers both pre-sale and post-sale (virtually or in person)
- Engage with customers to find creative manufacturing solutions
- Work with the Marketing and Business Development teams to support pre and post-sales efforts including creating valuable collateral for our clients
- Train customers on software solutions as needed
- Partner with the Sales team to demonstrate technical capabilities of solutions for current and potential customers
Though not extensive, we expect this candidate to have 5+ years experience with Solidworks parametric 3D design utilizing software in a professional environment, ideally working with different clients and/or internal/external customers. This person should be designing parts from scratch with no/very little direction.

- Must be located in California, Colorado, or Houston and willing to travel to each as needed

“In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $80k and $150k. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.”
