We are seeking an accomplished and proactive Marketing and Admissions Director specializing in skilled nursing facility operations, with a focus on Medicaid billing services. In this pivotal role, you will drive the expansion of our Medicaid application support service throughout Northern and Central New Jersey while fostering relationships with clients in neighboring states through occasional out-of-state travel. Your expertise will help skilled nursing facilities streamline complex Medicaid paperwork, improve cash flow, and ensure timely payments—allowing facilities to focus on delivering exceptional care to residents. Responsibilities:
- Strategically Promote Medicaid Services: Actively engage with skilled nursing facilities to market our specialized Medicaid application support services. Emphasize the operational and financial benefits of accurate application processing to streamline cash flow and alleviate administrative challenges for facility staff.
- Admissions and Account Management Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison for assigned facilities, building trusted partnerships with administrators, admissions directors, and business office managers. Ensure seamless onboarding, address ongoing client needs, and identify opportunities to further integrate our services into their workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with facility leadership teams across departments to ensure Medicaid services are fully utilized. Conduct routine meetings to align service goals with the organization's operational needs.
- Hands-On Educational Support: Provide in-person training and support to admissions and business office teams, enhancing their understanding of how to navigate complex Medicaid applications. Deliver educational outreach to simplify processes and maximize service value.
- Regional and Out-of-State Travel: Commit to weekly travel throughout Northern and Central New Jersey, ensuring close client engagement. Additionally, undertake out-of-state trips a few times per month to develop and sustain relationships with clients in expanded markets.
Qualifications:
- Proven Sales and Marketing Expertise: Extensive experience in marketing and admissions within skilled nursing facilities or healthcare-related industries. Familiarity with Medicaid application processes or medical billing is highly desirable.
- Exceptional Relationship Builder: Demonstrated ability to establish trust with key decision-makers, communicate value effectively, and nurture lasting partnerships across all levels of an organization.
- Organized and Detail-Oriented: Adept at managing complex documentation and processes, ensuring Medicaid applications are accurate and timely to avoid delays or denials.
- Flexibility for Travel: Comfortable with extensive in-state travel and occasional out-of-state trips to maintain strong client relationships and drive service adoption.
- Empathetic and Professional Approach: Skilled in addressing sensitive issues with compassion, offering clarity and reassurance to families and facility staff navigating the Medicaid process.
Compensation and Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary of $100,000 annually, paired with a performance-driven commission structure that rewards client growth and service expansion.
