Experienced Service Advisor - Prestige Ford

Job Summary:

Prestige Ford, a leading automotive dealership in Mount Dora, Florida, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time position, with a base salary and commission structure. As the Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and assisting them with their vehicle service needs. You will work closely with our technicians and parts department to ensure timely and efficient service. This is an individual contributor role, and the successful candidate will have a strong background in customer service and the automotive industry.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Competitive base salary of $45,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and performance

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner and accurately assess their service needs
- Schedule appointments and confirm service reservations
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of service requests
- Educate customers on maintenance and repair options and provide recommendations based on their vehicle's needs
- Accurately document all services performed and ensure proper billing and invoicing
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
- Communicate with the management team to discuss strategies for improving customer service and increasing sales
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry is required
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of automotive systems and parts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Proficient in computer skills and familiar with dealership management systems
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
