Experienced Machine Operator - GMS

Erdie Industries, Inc. is currently searching for full-time Experienced Machine Operators to join their team in Lorain, Ohio! We are looking for an individual with several years of experience to join our 2^nd shift from 4PM to 2AM Monday-Thursday for up to $30/hour.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday
• 4 PM - 2 AM

The right candidate will have:

• At least 3 years of experience in machine operating required
• Ability to operate equipment effectively
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement blueprints
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stack and package per work order
• Ability to lift at least 70 lbs.
• Bend and twist through the workday
• Willingness to accept supervision and assistance

Our Experienced Machine Operator will:

• Measuring, calipering, and checking the overall quality per specifications
• Be responsible for the operation of a spiral winder and blade cutter, as well as other miscellaneous equipment to fill customer orders
• Work with and lead others in creating a safe and positive environment
• Maintain equipment and workplace to the highest standards
• Read and understand word orders to set-up machines correctly
• Be committed to making World Class Products
• Engage in training others
• Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area
• Be willing and able to run ahead of schedule daily in a technologically changing business
