About the Job
Our client is a full-service law firm based in Cleveland with a corporate platform. They are seeking to hire an experienced Real Estate Transactions Attorney with an expertise in Land Use and Zoning for their busy practice. This is a new position with the firm and the qualified attorney will have at least 7 + years of experience in the following areas:
Land Use and Zoning –
Land Use and Zoning –
- Specific experience with site plan approvals, variances, conditional use permits and rezonings
- Specific experience reviewing and re-writing municipal Ordinances
- Specific experience in attending and speaking at all municipality meetings (Architectural Review Board, Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals and City County/Trustee).
- Specific experience in litigation against municipalities, including administrative appeals
- General knowledge of reading site plans
- General knowledge in construction and development
- General knowledge of economic development incentives
- General knowledge of eminent domain and assessments
- General knowledge of annexation
- Drafted Development Agreements with municipalities
Attorneys with large firm experience who are seeking to make partner on a faster track may find this Firm amenable to a partnership role.
