Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including invoice processing, billing, and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Execute journal entries and reconcile accounts to maintain data integrity and precision.
- Provide backup support for payroll operations and assist with processing company commissions.
- Lead paperless process improvement initiatives within AR/AP to enhance workflows and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting roles, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with expertise in Excel and QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a drive for improving financial processes.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Adaptability to changing work environments and priorities.
