We are seeking passionate individuals with at least 4 years of industrial maintenance mechanical experience. If you have skills in adjusting mechanical controls, PLC programming, working with gearboxes and solenoids, and repairing complex precision equipment, we want you on our team! Our Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring our proprietary production equipment operates at peak performance through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and advanced repairs.

Unique Training Experience: Our comprehensive 8-week on-the-job training program will see you traveling to Reno, NV, where you'll learn from industry experts in one of the most innovative production facilities in the world. The training schedule consists of 3 weeks in Reno followed by 1 week at home, enriching your skills and setting you up for success.
The starting pay is $27.50 per hour, with quick performance-based increases and shift differentials as we grow.
INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CNC diagnostic, robotics repair, and delicate tools experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a maintenance technician/mechanic
- Prepare written documentation in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly
- Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must have basic mathematical knowledge and be able to do standard calculations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or Skilled Machine Technician III
- PLC experience preferred
- Experience in tearing down and rebuilding machines and equipment
- Experience in diagnosis and repair of robotics
- Resilient, self-motived and able to work well under pressure
INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN SUMMARY/ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Follows all Maintenance Process Instructions (MPI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Conducts initial multimeter readings, megging of motors, and reading PLC Ladder logic
- Follows all safety procedures and conforms to Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
- Changes belts, filters, and other replaceable parts as needed
- Greases and or lubricates fittings, joints, unions, and motors as required
- Works closely with Maintenance team members and Operations team members to maintain PENA equipment
- Checks settings, gauge readings, Human Machine Interface (HMI), and sensors regularly to keep machines operating at appropriate specifications
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines according to documented requirements such as cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts
- Completes visual and audible observations to detect any machine abnormalities and to address and create scheduled repairs
- Tightens bolts and inspects belts and chains for wear and tear for proper tensions
- Performs complex cleaning activities on dismantled equipment and reassembles per OEM specifications
- Basic troubleshooting on equipment and machinery to replace worn or broken parts as needed
- Examines the form, texture, and dimensions of the machine parts to detect wear and/or imperfections
- Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, measuring devices, and material handling equipment while performing duties
- Identifies faulty operations and defective material and escalates concerns to supervisors
- Suggests, develops, and implements machine modifications and processes to ensure machine and production efficiencies
- Maintains accurate records of completed work on the equipment and machines, including After Action Reviews (AAR)
- Ensures that inventory of spare parts is accurately kept
- Works according to Standard Work and helps develop Standard Work where none has been developed
- Identifies the cause of unexpected breakdowns of machines
- Actively works toward the elimination of unexpected breakdowns
- Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains the shop areas, production areas, parts, tools, and supplies, maintaining a 6S environment

- Performs additional tasks as assigned
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) REQUIREMENTS: To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees', wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, squat, tolerate prolonged standing/walking, balance, bend from trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects. Must be able to work up to 12-hour shifts.

WORK ENVIRONMENT : Clean room environment. Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shocks, caught in/caught by mechanical components, and automatic conveying/automated handlers. The noise level in the work environment is usually not loud.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read and understand English instructions, written and verbal.
