- Assisting Senior Project Managers or Principals with executing day to day activities of projects.
- Conducting internal and client communications.
- Coordinating with subcontractors during project execution.
- Preparing proposals and technical reports with Senior Project Manager or Principal guidance.
- Oversight of subsurface geotechnical and geologic investigations in connection with building, infrastructure and other development projects with emphasis on seasonal high-water levels and stormwater management investigations including USDA soil logs.
- Participation in conference calls and site meetings are part of the project team.
- Mentoring and managing GZA staff performing construction oversight and investigations.
- Computer modeling of stormwater infiltration, groundwater mounding, soil and rock slope stability, dewatering flow analyses, and settlement programs.
- Reviewing construction drawings for compliance with project specifications.
- Conducting site compliance inspections.

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geology, or Soil Science (or related field) required; Master's Degree preferred.
- PE/PG strongly preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant field experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform field tasks and activities and communicate remotely as required by the project.
- Established computer skills using MS Office and geotechnical engineering software (experience with programs such as SEEP/W, SLOPE/W, L-pile, DeepEX, Settle 3D or similar).
- Ability to work locally and regionally. Candidate must possess a valid driver's license in good standing and have a consistent means of reliable transportation to/from work.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and environmental investigation or NJDEP soil evaluator experience is a plus.
