Job Summary:
As a Commercial Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. Your role involves understanding clients' insurance needs, facilitating policy administration, providing exceptional customer service, and acting as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers. Your goal is to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth of the insurance portfolio.
Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial insurance clients, understanding their business needs and goals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing timely assistance.

Policy Management and Administration:
- Manage and administer insurance policies, including policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms, coverages, and premiums.

Insurance Analysis and Recommendations:
- Analyze clients' businesses and risks to recommend appropriate insurance coverage, ensuring adequate protection and compliance with regulations.
- Educate clients on insurance products, coverages, and policy details.

Claims Management Support:
- Assist clients in reporting and managing insurance claims, ensuring a smooth and efficient claims process.
- Liaise with insurance carriers and claims adjusters to advocate for clients and facilitate the claims resolution.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
- Conduct risk assessments for clients to identify potential exposures and suggest risk management strategies.
- Work with clients to implement risk mitigation practices and improve their risk profile.

Client Communication and Education:
- Keep clients informed about industry trends, policy updates, and relevant insurance information.
- Provide educational resources and materials to help clients understand their insurance coverage and options.

Account Growth and Retention:
- Identify opportunities for account growth by offering additional insurance products or expanding coverage to meet changing client needs.
- Focus on client retention by ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.

Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and organized client files, records, and documentation in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field. ( preferred)
- Relevant experience in commercial insurance, account management, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and policy language.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in insurance industry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- ACTIVE PROPERTY & CASUALTY LICENSE REQUIRED
Working Conditions:
- This position typically operates in a professional office environment.
- Travel may be required for client meetings, industry events, or training.
