Experienced Caregivers/Next Day Pay!! - Right at Home Central Michigan

Immediate positions for in-home caregivers!

Pay Rate: $14-$16 an hour!

Shift needs: Various shifts in Haslett, Milford, Howell, Williamston, and Brighton

As a caregiver at Right at Home, you will develop relationships, improve people's quality of life, and help the elderly who need love and care. Your purpose will be to help people enjoy life by assisting them with daily tasks such as food preparation, mild exercise, local transportation, social interactions, and housekeeping. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will brighten the lives of the people you deal with, making them feel encouraged, involved, and valued.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Companionship activities such as reading, games, music, and puzzles.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping tasks include vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linens, etc.
• Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
• Personal Care: bathing/showering/toileting/dressing/gait belt/Hoyer Lift
• Assisting with active and passive range of motion exercises
• Special assistance for Alzheimer’s, dementia, and Parkinson’s care

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Driving License and Reliable Vehicle
• High school graduate or GED
• Able to lift and bend with 50 lbs.
• Willing and able to pass a background check.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed
• CNA license, Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certification is preferred.
