Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to oversee all aspects of our bar operations. The ideal candidate will bring a creative flair, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the beverage industry.

Job duties

1. Bar Operations:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Develop and implement effective bar procedures, protocols, and standards.

1. Beverage Selection and Ordering:

• Curate an innovative and appealing beverage menu in collaboration with the management team.
• Manage inventory and supplier relationships to ensure a well-stocked and diverse selection.

1. Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Create staff schedules and manage labor costs while ensuring excellent customer service.

1. Customer

   Experience:

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service.
• Handle customer feedback and address any issues promptly and professionally.

1. Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures for drink preparation, presentation, and service.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area.

1. Marketing and Promotions:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional events and campaigns.
• Drive initiatives to increase bar sales and attract new customers.

1. Compliance and Licensing:

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Manage and renew licenses as required.

1. Budget Management:

• Manage the bar budget, monitoring expenses and revenue to achieve financial goals.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

*Other tasks may be needed as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• In-depth knowledge of beverage trends, mixology, and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Knowledge of local liquor laws and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• TABC Certification is required.
• Manager Food Handler certification is required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
