Experienced Automotive Technician - Toledo, Ohio - Express Employment

Express Employment is searching for an Experienced Automotive Technician in Toledo, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repairs and maintenance services on vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. As an experienced technician, your expertise will contribute to providing exceptional service to our client's customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in various makes and models of vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
• Repair or replace faulty components using necessary tools and equipment
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle issues and recommended services
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technologies and repair methods
• Complete all documentation accurately and efficiently
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in the shop

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training preferred
• 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair techniques
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to stay current with changes in the automotive industry
