Job Details
Position Summary
- Develop, present and negotiate the recommended portfolio of services to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction with Operations Management
- Manage and pursue business opportunities using client database to provide visibility of sales efforts to management
- Develop contacts and prospects through cold-calling, market research, and internal lead development
- Collaborate with Operations to generate job estimates/bid proposals, including scope of work, accurate site boundaries and measurements, and estimate of labor and materials
- Respond to client Requests for Proposal (RFPs) in a timely and professional manner
- Meet or exceed established annual sales targets
- Attend and contribute to RFP pre-bid meetings and proposal presentations
- Maintain key client relationships and pursue additional opportunities for networking and additional sales generation
- Attend staff and sales meetings to assess business opportunities and ensure mutual understanding of the company’s strategic focus
- Attend trade shows, association events, and meetings with existing and prospective clients; advertise and represent the company professionally
- Manage sales promotions budget
- Facilitate smooth customer experience from contract initiation through fulfillment by hosting client meetings to ensure quality work and service, including site walk-throughs. Act as liaison between client and operations
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of industry sales experience and/or 5 years of hands-on ARBOR (tree care) experience
- Valid Texas driver license
- ISA Certification OR the ability to obtain
