Job Title: Experience Design Engineer
Location: Remote

Job description:
What you'll be doing
• Work with Product Design, Industrial Design and Engineering to uncover research needs
• Create and execute research for both hardware and software projects
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research focused on moving product strategy forward (Client on foundational, generative work)
• Consult with non-researchers at HyperX on best practices to help them to implement their own work. This means education, evangelization, and empowerment!
• Contribute to best practices for a healthy, lean research organization
• Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through a variety of deliverables

What you should have:
• 5+ years of UX research experience
• Bachelor's or Masters in a human behavior related field (or equivalent/demonstrable work experience)
• Experience educating stakeholders about various research methods (whether novel/creative or standardized) and advocating for impactful research to be done
• Experience performing all research-related cycle tasks — including requirements gathering, planning, recruiting participants, executing, analyzing, creating deliverables, forming solid product recommendations, insights workshops/post-mortems
• You are an effective communicator, concise in your reporting and able to communicate actionable insights for product, design, and marketing
• Experience working collaboratively with other researchers and partners, and bringing out the best in them
• Experience soliciting feedback on your own work and adding value to others' work
• Experience working with stakeholders and are comfortable being a strategic partner in product decisions
