About the Job
The Expanded Learning Coordinator will oversee the collaborative process in community partnership school-related extended learning and enrichment programs. They will coordinate the activities that will enhance student learning and work closely with the school administration to provide necessary resources. They will also work with community partners and organizations to provide a variety of resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the After School program.
- Coordinate academic, cultural, and recreational programming.
- Maintain sign-in logs and participant files with all required paperwork.
- Oversee facility management including custodial, safety, classroom, security, and transportation.
- Maintain accurate distribution and accounting of the feeding/snack program.
- Submit all required documents on a timely basis including attendance, snack counts, etc.
- Establish and maintain partnerships/communication with community-based organizations, school staff and other collaborators.
- Coordinate evaluation process, including surveys of students, parents and staff.
- Facilitate regular after-school meetings and professional development.
- Assist with general clerical office tasks as needed.
- Maintain files and records as required; maintain program statistics and prepare reports.
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist in after-school programming.
- Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
- Keep other care team members informed when situations occur that disrupt timely patient flow through site.
- Contribute to community give back initiatives and be an advocate for Premier’s mission
- Adhere to patient care needs and the core values of Premier Community HealthCare to a provide best-in-class patient experience
- Work towards attaining department goals and drive Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI/QA)

- Regional Community Engagement and Relationship Building: Ability to connect with diverse community groups and build strong relationships, this involves regional travel to effectively meet the community school needs and foster successful collaborations

- Community Engagement:Ability to effectively engage with a diverse patient population, showing cultural sensitivity and awareness. Actively supports and promotes Premier Community HealthCare's campaigns and initiatives, such as giving campaigns, contributing to the organization's community-oriented goals
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for effectively conveying information, ideas and plans to diverse audiences
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook) and comfortable with various digital platforms
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in human services, education or a related field, or commensurate experience.
- Preferred experience coordinating school-related programs or services.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Obtain and maintain annual compliance throughout employment
