Opsource of Spartanburg is seeking a diligent, detail-oriented Exit Operator to join a local Textile plant in Enoree, SC.
Job function: Maintain delivery end of prescribed machine assignment assuring quality of printed fabric in accordance with prescribed quality, efficiency, and safety standards. Assist entry operator in keeping production of cloth, patches, leadline, setup cloth sewn properly in machine to minimize machine downtime.
DETAILED PROCEDURES (EXIT OPERATOR):
1. OBTAIN PAPERWORK OR LINE UP:
* Receive written instructions in performing assigned duties.
* Make sure all paperwork is received and in order.
* Maintain required records.
2. OBTAIN MATERIALS:
* Locate materials and supplies from designated storage area.
* Inspect materials, supplies, and identification data to ensure hat correct materials of proper quality standards are being used.
3. MAINTAIN DELIVERY END OF PRESCRIBED MACHINE:
* Inspect and report any defective product to appropriate personnel.
* Deliver Patches to designated personnel.
* Deliver processed Fabric to the next production station.
(Requirements – Must transfer 1300 lbs. (Maximum) processed truck 187’ (Maximum)
* After Pattern is printed, inspect pattern, wash the screens, re-inspect and deliver to screen print warehouse.
* Bring one set of screens up to the machine.
* Obtain and deliver specified swatches or samples to designated personnel or storage area.
4. OPERATE ASSIGNED CONTROLS:
* Operate controls and/or equipment to ensure quality printed products.
* Lift and transfer squeegee to rack. (Squeegee is 25’ maximum and 35 lbs. maximum) Will lift and transfer on an average of 30 occurrences per shift.
* Monitor entry cloth when the entry operator is unavailable.
5. CLEANING:
* Perform prescribed cleaning and/or waste removal.
* Perform cleaning duties around the machine area in accordance with prescribed safety and quality standards.
6. SAFETY:
* Perform all duties with prescribed safety and quality standards.
* All cloth and materials must be handled according to procedures.
