A Typical Day:The Executive Vice President Research and Fixed Income Investor Relations will build and maintain a comprehensive strategy for fixed income investors, and stay abreast of developments in banking as it relates to the portfolio. As the EVP Research and Fixed Income Investor Relations, you will oversee all operational activities to ensure efficient and effective execution in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
The Executive VP Research and Fixed Income Investor Relations will:
- Be responsible for fixed income investor relations - relationship development with institutional investors, including current and prospective investors in Pennymac issuances (MSR term notes, CRT term notes, private label securitizations)
- Manage structured products rating agency relationships
- Monitor and synthesize economic and market data to help inform house views on macroeconomic trends, housing trends, housing finance trends, interest rates and credit spreads
- Direct corporate strategic initiatives that impact capital markets and working with senior leadership of multiple departments (Production, Servicing, Finance, IT, etc.) to drive initiatives to completion (i.e., preparation for private label securitization)
- Enhance existing and develop new reporting across Capital Markets, with an emphasis on greater timeliness and usefulness of reporting, and dissemination of that reporting throughout the broader enterprise
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong experience working in capital markets and investor relations in the banking industry, including interaction with investors and/or other third parties
- Fundamental understanding of financial markets, corporate finance and accounting and knowledge of regulatory and tax issues that drive funding and hybrid capital structures

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
- Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
- Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
- Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
Salary:$140,000 - $175,000Work Model:OFFICE
