Salary Range: $75k-$90k DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervising Kitchen Operations: The executive sous chef oversees the day-to-day culinary operations in the steakhouse kitchen, ensuring the smooth flow of food production, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating the kitchen staff.

Menu Development and Culinary Creativity: They play a crucial role in menu creation, recipe development, and ensuring that the culinary offerings align with the steakhouse's brand and standards. This includes contributing to the creation of new dishes and refining existing ones.

Training and Development: The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for training new kitchen staff, supervising their work, and ensuring that all employees adhere to the established food preparation and safety protocols, contributing to a cohesive and efficient kitchen team.

REQUIREMENTS:

2-3 years needed as a Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Kitchen Manager or Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Adherence to sanitation and food safety protocols

Open availability to work, which includes some nights and weekends
