Education and/or Experience
2+ years of experience in a lead culinary role, experience in Sports & Entertainment, Large Scale Events, or Stadium Catering is preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, internal and external email communications, and purchasing procedures
Knowledge of budget management, labor, and food costs.
Must live near or be willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA.
Proven leadership skills and the motivation to step up and run the kitchen when the Executive Chef is not onsite.
Specialized Qualifications:
Must be a natural leader, one who has fire in the belly to lead and love what they do.
Must be a chef who thrives on creativity, customer satisfaction and flavor profiles
Present oneself in a manner consistent with professional appearance, good personal hygiene and grooming, and respectful conduct to all external and internal customers / contacts at all times
Exhibit cooking skills, knowledge, and food handling skills consistent with contemporary training and requirements of similar position in industry
Work Environment
This role will mainly work out of Gateway Arena or GICC. This role requires some physical work with an emphasis on organization, event set up, and conducting inventory in a fast-paced work environment. This position will be moving in and out of structures and carrying items across miscellaneous terrains.
Uniform Requirements
Adherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines.
Non-slip shoes are necessary.
Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of moving through kitchen, coolers, and storage spaces, and traveling to different venues across greater Atlanta
Physical endurance to work long shifts in a busy environment.
Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items across uneven ground
Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs.

This is considered a salary, full-time position.
