Your Role with the Company:

The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for managing the kitchen, along with the Chef de Cuisine. Primary duties and responsibilities include:

• Supervise, train, and coach kitchen staff
• Ensure foods are prepared in accordance with company standards for quality, freshness, consistency, and timelines
• Ensure all equipment is operated safely via OSHA regulations
• Ensure proper food storage and safe handling practices
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of foods as order volume dictates
• Oversee the managerial aspects of the Kitchens, with focus on Food Cost, labor Cost, upkeep of Recipe Viewer software
• When needed, work in the restaurants to fill in for other Chef roles
• Other duties as dictated by Chef de Cuisine to run smooth BOH operations

Qualifications

• 2+ Years strong BOH experience as an Executive Sous Chef in a high volume fine dining restaurant
• Culinary degree strongly preferred
• Michelin experience highly preferred
• Strong passion for culinary excellence, and you are exceptionally detailed
• Basic knowledge and understanding of financial aspects of business operations
• You are caring, self-motivated and exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence
