This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Sous Chef at Somerset Hills Country Club. The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily food preparation in the kitchen, managing kitchen staff, creating menus, and maintaining high-quality standards in food production. Additionally, the Executive Sous Chef will collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a memorable dining experience for club members and guests.
- Culinary Arts, Food Safety, and Menu Planning skills
- Experience in managing kitchen staff and food production
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to changing culinary trends and member preferences
- Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen or hospitality environment
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
