Minimum Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clerical or administrative experience
- Experience in a healthcare or staffing environment preferred.
Job Duties:
Nursing Office Administrative Assistant:
- Provide administrative support to nursing leadership in managing inpatient and community nursing staff.
- Handle a high volume of tasks, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing daily calendars.
- Maintain and organize files, handle confidential document copying and filing, and perform data entry.
- Monitor staff probation reports and evaluations.
- Assist in onboarding new employees, handling key requests, computer access, and purchase order requests.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, handle phone triage, and provide backup support to other administrative clerical staff.
Staffing Office Administrative Assistant (Clerical Temp):
- Maintain time and attendance data entry for nursing staff in the regional forensic and adult units.
- Function as a timekeeper, managing staff time, attendance, accrual usage, and overtime for accurate payment processing.
- Perform data entry specifically for direct care staff to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Additional clerical tasks include copying, scanning, filing, and creating spreadsheets and reports.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Misc. Information:
- Two positions are available: one in the Nursing Department and the other in the Staffing Office.
- Shift timing: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week.
- Free parking on RPC grounds
- RTS bus transportation within close proximity.
- Interview will be conducted in-person or Online based on the availability.
- Training will be provided.
