Minimum Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience:
- Familiarity with office procedures and equipment.
Job Duties:
- Assist supervisor in researching Medical Evidence of Record (MER) and Consultative Examination (CE) checks, returned to Central Fiscal (CF) unit as undeliverable.
- Create duplicate vouchers as required.
- Review incoming vouchers for accuracy and pricing. Contact regional staff to resolve discrepancies. Review data entry after it is keyed into the system and clear for transmission to finance.
- Conduct CE, MER, and Travel Check payment research and resolution. Create vouchers if no payment or incorrect payment has been made. Recoup overpayments from providers as necessary.
- Assist with credential review of medical staff being utilized by contract CE provider as well as independent providers and add them to DDD's Physician File.
- Sort, count, distribute mail and incoming vouchers.
- Prepare and enter report information into Excel, Microsoft Word log.
- Receive daily, weekly, and monthly reports, sort, and distribute to statewide processing centers and management staff.
- File CE, MER, Claimant Travel vouchers, Reports, and Physician Credentialing.
- Answer all inquiries on 800 line regarding CE, MER, and Claimant Travel inquiries.
- Data Entry of MER, CE, and Claimant Travel Vouchers.
- Screen vouchers prior to entry for missing data or payee discrepancies. Take corrective action if necessary.
- Post Screening of Vouchers to ensure accuracy and take corrective action if needed.
- Verify CE, MER, and Claimant Travel vouchers with transmittal sheet for correct O&V and payment amount.
- Review and take corrective action on CE, MER, and Claimant Travel rejections.
- Prepare correspondence to contact medical providers' mail to obtain information for vouchers missing information, requesting needed information.
- Assist CE, MER, and Claimant Travel supervisors with duties related to the unit.
- Perform special projects as needed.

Misc. Information:
- Shift timing for this role is usually 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday; but can be negotiated at the time of the interview.
- This position is full-time on-site.
- Company does not provide parking.
