Minimum Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Experience with the Statewide Financial System (SFS) is preferred.
Job Duties:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Bureau
- Conduct research and prepare statistical reports
- Handle information requests
- Perform clerical functions including routing mail, preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings
- Train and supervise lower-level clerical staff
- Act as the immediate supervisor's personal representative in dealing with the public and routine contacts with other State executives
- Perform special assignments, studies, and routine administrative functions as directed
- Screen incoming correspondence, refer to appropriate staff, and follow up to assure timely response
- Perform related duties as required
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in office software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Ability to take accurate notes during meetings and discussions.
Misc. Information:
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday; 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Client does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by bus, and metered parking is available around the building.
- A background check and fingerprinting will be required, including criminal, SSN, education, and previous employment verification.
- Interviews will be conducted using Microsoft Teams.
- Training will be provided.
