We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Executive Sales Manager with a food background to join our team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in the food manufacturing industry, excelling in territory sales, prospecting, territory management, and account management. This position requires a strategic thinker who can drive sales, build strong customer relationships, and lead a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities:
As an Executive Sales Manager, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of the sales department, including the sales team, sales strategies, and sales projects.
2. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in assigned territories, and meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
3. Conducting market research to understand emerging trends in the industry and developing strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
4. Prospecting and identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and securing profitable business deals.
5. Managing key customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.
6. Coordinating with other departments such as marketing, production, and finance to ensure alignment with company strategies and goals.
7. Providing detailed and accurate sales forecasts and reports to the executive team.
8. Training, mentoring, and motivating sales team members to achieve their personal and team sales targets.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
3. Proven track record of success in territory sales, prospecting, territory management, and account management.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and lead a high-performing sales team.
5. Strong business acumen and understanding of the food manufacturing industry, including market trends and competitive landscape.
6. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
8. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market research to develop effective sales strategies.
9. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
