Job DescriptionAs the Executive Recruiter, you are responsible for hiring the talented team members who help us transform care. In this role, you will develop and implement aggressive and innovative recruitment and retention strategies for executive positions up to and including the Vice President/Associate Executive Director for the Health System. You will collaborate with the organization's executives and source, screen, identify and evaluate activities of executive recruitment. You will also maintain and foster an environment of teamwork and innovation.

Responsibilities include:
- Partners with department leadership to design and implement sourcing strategies and methods to meet hiring needs of department both currently and for the future.
- Develop and implement a successful volume building strategy for executive business development; networking and marketing strategies.
- Develops key relationships within the department, site and health system; uses knowledge of department issues to resolve recruitment needs and issues.
- Sources, screens and interviews candidates for senior leadership positions. Conducts behavioral assessment interviews, monitors search progress and ensures all reference checks and on-boarding processes are completed efficiently and in a timely fashion.
- Ensures corporate recruiting efforts are consistent and in compliance with Federal, State and EEO regulations and North Shore-LIJ Talent Acquisition policies and procedures.
- Monitor internal and external factors impacting attraction and retention. Maintains awareness of the North Shore-LIJ market place.
- Develops behavioral interview guides for management staff.
- Provides consultation and technical support to Senior Management in the establishment of organizational diversity goals, objectives, and strategies and develops/communicates plans to meet established goals
- Monitors internal and external diversity trends and legal developments impacting policy, the recruitment and retention of employees, and the acquisition and retention of members and volunteers.
- Assist in relocation and housing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field, required. Master's Degree, preferred.
- Solid communication and management skills required.
- Minimum of five (5) years recruiting experience, specifically in management level recruiting. Healthcare industry experience, preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, utilization of applicant tracking systems and PeopleSoft experience, preferred.
- Behavioral Interviewing Certificate, preferred.
