Executive Protection Manager
DESCRIPTION
We are searching for an experienced executive protection manager to work closely with our client’s executives and manage the coordination of protection for their CEO, Board Members or other Executives in the United States, Canada, and international travel locations. Protection models include a variety of levels including low profile protection through close protection. Various protective intelligence platforms are used.
The ideal candidate is someone well versed in providing close protection to corporate executives travelling locally, domestically, and internationally. The selected candidate will excel at building relationships and trust, possess exceptional communication skills, is able to connect intelligence to operations, and who understands how to get the details right in a fast-paced environment. This individual will report to the Director of Security (Executive Protection) and assists in making critical decisions and manage in a team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide white glove close protection to the CEO and other corporate executives.
Manage administrative and operational functions of assigned executive protection program elements.
Support security logistics specifics, transportation details, arrival/departure procedures and any other logistics needed Based on protective intelligence indicators, identify risks, and provide recommendations for improvement, drive alignment across stakeholders with competing priorities.
Represent the executive protection team in a trusted advisor capacity at their assigned location, and coordinate efforts with other teams, i.e.: IT, Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Law Enforcement and Government Agencies.
Coordinate, manage and oversee protection support from 3rd party suppliers.
Deliver a tailored approach to executive protection through protective intelligence lens in a variety of circumstances.
Coordinate/manage protective intelligence in support of international and domestic travel based on executive risk profiles and country profiles, US State Department recommendations, other entities, and risk models.
Manage protective intelligence plans for corporate events; coordinate uniformed security support.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing and providing executive protection to CEO’s or executives in a corporate environment. No equivalent experience or substitution will be considered.
Experience developing and executing executive protection projects end-to-end.
Experience managing and coordinating executive protection in high-risk international travel locations.
Experience managing contractors and vendors in support of executive protection projects.
Experience establishing formal training for personnel traveling with executives.
Experience using multiple platforms to conduct open-source intelligence investigations.
Experience using protective intelligence to inform risk and protective operations techniques.
Experience providing protective intelligence, reports, and briefings in support of protective operations.
Ability to effectively manage change in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to travel, work nights and weekends as required.
