Position Overview:
The Executive Project Manager is a managerial role for the commercial construction projects based out of the Phoenix/Tempe office. The role will focus on job oversight and guidance of the project management team, customer relations, workload forecasting and day to day project management of high-profile or fast track projects. The role will collaborate with estimating and sales.
Core Responsibilities
Develop project management strategy and execution plans for high-profile or fast track projects.
Be the designated Project Manager on these projects with assistance from Phoenix/Tempe PM team when required.
Day-to-day management of project managers in the Phoenix/Tempe Office.
Build a high performing project management team by developing all employees to fullest potential and establish career progression opportunities within division and/or organization.
Conduct performance reviews to ensure team is operating efficiently and achieving performance objectives/goals.
Ensure that the entire PM team is capable of and executing the identification and appropriate financial recovery of all scope/design changes on the projects they are managing.
Establish clear metrics and benchmarks for measuring progress and maintaining focus on division priorities.
Ensure project progress and deliverables are effectively communicated with internal and external stakeholders.

Work Experience
-Fifteen (15) years related experience in steel fabrication/ modelling. Ten (10) years related experience in Project Management/ Coordination
Education/Training
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or extensive industry experience combined
with training certification in the field of steel fabrication, steel detailing or construction technology.
Specialized Knowledge Certificates & Licenses
As outlined in the Core Competencies, an individual must have thorough knowledge and an advanced
understanding of each competency outlined above in order to carry out the essential functions of this position.
Software & Technology
Completion of training or a certificate in 3D modelling software, for example Tekla, AutoCAD,
Navisworks, Rhino, etc.
