Xbox is looking for an experienced Executive Producer / Production Leader to join a game development team. In this senior leadership role, you will lead a game team to their peak performance, health, and well-being.
As Executive Producer / Production Leader you responsible for delivering a quality, commercially successful title, steering game development team(s) to deliver polished, high quality game experiences by ensuring the team has the clarity, energy, and structure needed to be successful.
Additionally, you will partner with key stakeholders to inform and, where needed, execute the short term and long-term strategic vision and direction of the game, including developing and maintain indicators and success metrics that track product quality and benchmarks. Where applicable, you will serve as product expert, representing the project vision and work-in-progress updates to key stakeholders, learning from best practices and getting up to speed rapidly on changing climate or emerging opportunities. You will lead efforts to educate and evangelize the interests of the game and development team to provide visibility, generate advocacy, and gain alignment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Ensure the leadership team is effective in all aspects of game development.
+ Manage internal and external relationships, ensuring alignment with project vision, goals, and quality standards. Champion and advocate for team and project across internal and external partnerships.
+ Partner with key project stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality product delivery. Lead meetings and events, including team-wide All Hands meetings and onsite events, to maintain team engagement and progress.
+ Ensure high standards, identify risks early, and maintain smooth progress. Champion project pillars and quality targets.
+ Manage budgets, contracts, and balance sheets as needed to drive financial health and business strategy targets.
+ Conduct project reviews, track development indicators, and communicate with stakeholders, including internal and external stakeholders. Prepare educational material, updates, and work-in-progress reports for key stakeholders.
+ Coordinate with teams across Testing, Marketing, User Research, Localization, Business Development, Licensing, Legal, and others where needed.
+ Deliver a commercially viable product in partnership with studio and Xbox leadership, achieving business strategy and targets. Where applicable, drive financial performance for the studio and report regularly to stakeholders.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in production roles in gaming or entertainment industry, or other multidisciplinary leadership
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience in full development of at least one major product release.
+ 3+ years experience in managing budget for large production projects (e.g., several hundred thousand dollars or more).
+ 3+ years experience managing relationships with stakeholders, clients, and/or customers.
+ 3+ years people management experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 12+ years in game development leadership.
+ 2+ years as an Executive Producer, Head of Production, Director of Production, or comparable title.
+ Experience leading large, complex productions across multiple studios.
+ Expertise in all phases of game development.
+ Demonstrated people management and team-building experience.
+ Experience with outsourcing and co-development partnerships.
+ International development experience.
+ Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
+ Financial planning and management experience.
+ Contract negotiation and resource management expertise.
Game Producers M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
