YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY:

The Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for managing all pastry operations of the restaurant. Primary duties and responsibilities include:

• Oversee both the production and service teams within the pastry department, ensuring seamless operation and coordination
• Act as a liaison with the GM and CDC, ensuring that all demands and requests are met with flexibility and precision
• Handle a variety of tasks, always adhering to the high standards of the restaurant
• Foster a structured environment where systems are crucial yet provide the flexibility for creative input and menu changes
• Maintain the highest standards in cleanliness, organization, and technical execution
• Complete performance counseling paperwork, manage ordering, and oversee inventory responsibilities
• Role requires extensive long-term training before opening, potentially out of state/area

BACKGROUND PROFILE

• 4+ years of experience as an Executive Pastry Chef (or comparable role) with a high volume ($8M+) fine dining restaurant
• Michelin experience strongly preferred
• Must be an independent worker and possess proven management skills
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate, energetic, detail oriented, and a passion for hospitality
