Senior Director of Business Development & Capture Management (Fed/Civ)

MUST:
Experienced Senior Director of Business Development & Capture Management
15+ years of business development and capture experience with a concentration on the Federal Civilian.
Preferred experience with Dept of Commerce and Dept of Treasury
Track record of leading successful pursuits in developing and executing Government agency Cybersecurity Capture Plans, including Win Strategies
Experience creating capture strategies as per the Shipley model
Ability to develop and produce a winning solution.
Must possess excellent written/verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Aggressive, action-oriented mindset, founded in strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Experience managing and maintaining quality pipeline data using Salesforce CRM tools
Flexibility to travel domestically in support of capture efforts conferences, industry meetings, and customer calls.
Familiarity with federal contracting, GWACs, GSA Schedules, and online tools used by the Federal government for solicitations.
Travel by land or air transportation 10%
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent related experience
DUTIES:
Will report to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) of Business Development and Growth.
Responsible for supporting growth across the Federal Government portfolio, with a concentration on the Federal Civilian Agencies.
Will contribute directly to win strategy development, identification, qualification, shaping, and client facing activities leading to successfully capturing new business opportunities.
Responsible for leading priority new business development and capturing activities per a mature business development process.
Will have a proven record of success in managing complex capture projects throughout the entire Federal Acquisition lifecycle from inception to award.
Will have a focus on small business set aside to start, with a transition plan into full and open/ unrestricted opportunities of $20-50 Million and Unrestricted opportunities. Ability to develop and mature industry relationships and strategic partnerships.
Develop and maintain a sustainable 36-month pipeline, providing analysis and assessment of all opportunities, ensuring alignment with corporate new business development strategy and client differentiators.
Self-starter, motivated by the challenge of charting a path to win new work.
Individual contributor as part of BD team; leads BD/Capture process; maintains leadership, win strategy and customer voice in conjunction with Proposal manager through proposal submission.
Requires a highly resourceful individual capable of creating and maintaining the customer and industry relationships necessary to win.
Works in sync with Operations to qualify and close opportunities; ensuring that pursuits and associated BD and Capture activity are aligned with operational growth strategy.
Develops capture plans and resulting win strategies and integrates and prioritizes them according to the procurement, evaluation criteria, and market conditions.
Provides regular reporting to leadership including presenting to senior executives on individual opportunity capture status, pipeline status, and strategic plans.
Performs market analysis and strategic business planning, including comprehensive account plans.
Performs full lifecycle Business Development and Capture Leadership Works closely with the appropriate teams to identify and qualify new business opportunities; develops creative capture strategies as per the Shipley model; and assists in the preparation of winning proposals for our government clients.
Assists in planning and designing tailored technical presentations to potential customers and partners at all stages of the business development and capture process.
Works with Proposal Development to develop and submit high-quality, responsive, and winning proposals.
