Job Description
The Executive Director, Medical Service Marketing, will provide the strategic vision and leadership direction to the Service Marketing Team to achieve Medical Service Business Unit (MSBU) objectives. This position owns the commercial responsibility for achieving the BU objectives from defining and enhancing go-to-market models for growth to ensuring that we are delivering the OEM Service brand promise and building on the value delivered to our customers.
Job Duties
+ Deliver strategies and tactics that grow market share and achieve both revenue and profitability targets. Build and enhance the customer segmentation process with relevant strategies and targeted value propositions.
+ Effectively manage the team of Marketing Managers; drive performance, employee engagement and cultivate a high performing group that is driven by innovation and takes initiative.
+ Establish performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of the Marketing campaigns and commercialization plan initiatives. Implement a data-driven approach to building and optimizing marketing strategy by working closely with Data Analytics & Finance and focusing on metrics like ‘gross margin by contract category' and ‘equipment attach rate' to determine prioritization of messages and campaigns.
+ Act as lead steward for the Service brand; articulate the brand promise and value proposition in a meaningful and compelling way through development of an arsenal of collateral and case studies. Develop and deliver expert-level customer presentations on the clinical and economic advantages of leveraging OEM Service; build relationships with customers in order to drive peer-to-peer messaging.
+ Develop and manage Annual Commercial Plan, Drive Service Contracts Portfolio pricing and margin calculator enhancements, thought leadership, advertising promotion, advisory boards, and events supporting brand strategies and goals. Focus on creation of omnichannel digital campaigns (email, social, webinars, website) that target key audiences (clinical, supply chain, biomed, infection control) with specific content and calls to action.
+ Conduct continuous surveillance of the market and competitive landscape to assess and make recommendations for future product needs to help achieve business goals. Define market research needs and work with Market Research team to design research studies that inform customer requirements and product development.
+ Define new market opportunities for the Digital Ecosystem software solutions and bolster current contract offerings with compelling business cases for expanding market share.
+ Own the Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) program using feedback and insights to create action around improving the customer experience with the Service brand.
+ Develop and lead training curriculum for Sales teams in coordination with Sales Training. Collaborate with BU Marketing & Sales colleagues to regularly review the current state of the Service business for each BU, drive targeted campaigns and promotions and generate new revenue models and opportunities across BUs.
+ Identify and resolve emerging issues that may impact project, BU or Corporate objectives. Recognize potential threats to success and elevate issues to senior management. Propose solutions and resolve conflicts within cross functional teams when possible and make recommendations for process improvements.
+ Deliver Marketing & Commercial Plan progress at monthly business reviews and ExCom Meetings with Senior Leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with Global MSBU organization to harmonize and innovate business models ideas from other regions of the world.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required; a graduate degree (MS/MBA) is preferred.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Healthcare or Service industry required inclusive of the following:
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in a people management role at a director level.
+ Strong strategic planning and business acumen.
+ Proven track record of leveraging Analytics, customers insights and feedback from the field teams to develop and execute commercialization activities that balance both revenue and profitability.
+ Comfortable with presenting to broad audiences internally and externally.
+ Effective communication, negotiation and coaching skills.
+ Superior interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
+ Strong achievement orientation with creative problem solving and innovative mindset to embrace new ideas and processes.
+ Positive attitude and highly collaborative with aptitude to drive results in a matrix organization and influence others who you do not have direct authority over.
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
+ Strong multi-tasking capabilities.
+ Able to manage multiple complex projects with solid time management skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Ability to travel domestically. Must be able to travel internationally and domestically 25% of the time.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $158,600.00 - $237,899.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
