Job Summary:
The Executive Director of Human Resources (EDHR) is a key member of the executive leadership
team at Amazing Care, serving as the strategic leader and visionary for the Human Resources
function. This role is responsible for driving organizational effectiveness, culture
transformation, and workforce strategies that align with the company's mission, vision, and
business objectives.
As the head of Human Resources, the EDHR oversees enterprise-wide HR initiatives, including
organizational development, succession planning, talent acquisition, training and development,
employee engagement, compensation and benefits, compliance, and employee relations. The
EDHR ensures HR strategies are innovative, scalable, and integrated into the broader business
strategy to enhance Amazing Care's position as an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team on all people-related
matters, ensuring HR strategies support short- and long-term business goals.
• Drive culture transformation initiatives that foster employee engagement, inclusivity,
and alignment with organizational values.
• Lead workforce planning efforts to ensure the organization is equipped with the right
talent and leadership to achieve its mission.
Organizational Development and Talent Management:
• Develop and execute enterprise-level succession planning to build a strong leadership
pipeline.
• Lead initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring alignment with
business priorities.
• Oversee comprehensive learning and development programs that enhance leadership
capabilities and employee growth.Operational Excellence:
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and
impact of HR initiatives.
• Oversee the development and execution of compensation and benefits strategies that
are equitable, competitive, and aligned with market trends.
• Ensure HR operations and processes are efficient, scalable, and supported by modern
HR technology systems.
• Maintain compliance with all employment-related laws and regulations while
proactively addressing emerging trends and risks.
Leadership and Team Oversight:
• Provide executive oversight for the HR team, fostering a high-performance culture
within the department.
• Mentor and develop HR leaders, ensuring they are equipped to deliver on their strategic
and operational responsibilities.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
• Act as a trusted partner to leaders and employees in resolving complex employee
relations issues.
• Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, including recognition programs,
morale-building activities, and annual award events.
• Regularly assess and refine HR policies and practices to support employee satisfaction
and organizational objectives.
Change Management and Organizational Alignment:
• Drive change management efforts to align the workforce with the company's evolving
goals and structure.
• Partner with leadership to design and implement scalable HR processes that support
growth and innovation.
Executive Communication and Reporting:
• Collaborate with executive leadership to communicate HR strategies and initiatives
effectively across the organization.• Prepare and present reports to the board and stakeholders on workforce trends,
retention, and other critical HR metrics.
Required Skills and Abilities:
• Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to align HR
strategies to organizational goals.
• Proven ability to lead cultural and organizational transformation efforts.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence
stakeholders at all levels.
• Deep understanding of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best
practices.
• Strong expertise in HR technology and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with a focus on results and scalability.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
(Master's degree strongly preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive
or senior leadership role.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of driving organizational growth and implementing large-scale HR
initiatives.
• Experience in private equity-backed organizations or rapidly scaling companies is a plus.
