Position: Executive Director

Overview:
"Our Client" is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). This role is vital in driving the growth of the tourism industry in the region by providing strategic leadership, ensuring financial stability, and fostering partnerships with community and industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including fiscal and operational management of the CVB.
• Develop and implement strategic goals to enhance regional tourism, adapting to market changes as needed.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson for tourism in the community, working with local, state, and national partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with tourism stakeholders and communicate the region’s story effectively.
• Provide dynamic leadership to energize the CVB team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred; Associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience in the tourism industry will be considered.
• Knowledge of the tourism industry and the Orange County area.
• Proven experience in budgeting, staff management, and marketing plan implementation.
• Ability to work with volunteers and develop community partnerships.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in social media and web management.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
