Position Overview:
As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations of our vibrant Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community. Your leadership will guide the property’s strategy and day-to-day functions, ensuring top-notch service, resident satisfaction, and operational success. You’ll drive the culture, financial performance, and service excellence in this role, ensuring Symphony Pointe thrives as a premier destination for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the property leadership team, fostering professional development and holding departments accountable for achieving business results.
- Oversee operations, including sales, marketing, resident services, and community partnerships, ensuring a seamless and high-quality living experience.
- Create and execute strategies aligned with Agemark’s mission, vision, and values, driving the overall success of the community.
- Manage budgets, review financial reports, and ensure efficient use of resources, including capital expenditures.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and local partners to enhance the community’s reputation and foster inclusion.
- Lead Quality Improvement Programs and maintain compliance with Agemark’s high standards of care and service.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to establish goals and drive lead generation for occupancy growth.
- Ensure that the property remains tour-ready and is consistently maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Executive Director Competencies:
- Leadership: Inspire, motivate, and challenge your team to deliver high-quality services that align with Agemark’s values.
- Problem-solving & Decision-making: Quickly assess issues and opportunities to implement the most effective solutions.
- Strategic Thinking: Evaluate marketing conditions and diagnose opportunities for growth and community engagement.
- Financial Acumen: Oversee the financial health of the property, managing budgets, pricing strategies, and revenue generation.
- Resident & Guest Focus: Ensure a culture of customer service excellence that meets the needs of every resident and guest.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of management experience in hospitality, senior living, or a related field with a proven track record of success in operations, sales, and financial management.
- Experience in Independent Living/Assisted Living/Memory Care is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
- Strong computer and social media skills are essential.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while also fostering teamwork and collaboration across departments.
