About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Development for its Business School. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive advancement plan, with a focus on major, planned, and principal gift prospects. This role involves setting strategic goals, managing a portfolio of high-level prospects, and ensuring a robust pipeline of future donors. The Executive Director will also lead a team of development officers, inform alumni engagement strategies, and work closely with the Dean and senior leadership to advance the philanthropic objectives of the College. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a bachelor's degree (graduate degree preferred) and at least 10 years' experience in relationship management with high-net-worth individuals. The role requires a professional with a polished demeanor, superior communication skills, and a proven track record in fundraising, including campaign planning and goal-setting. The ideal candidate will be adept at recruiting and managing high-level volunteers, supervising development staff, and be committed to the values of higher education. The position demands a proactive individual who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and who is willing to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
