Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead culinary operations at Fenway Park. This role involves overseeing high-volume catering and concessions within a sports and entertainment venue. The position follows an event-based schedule, requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Culinary Leadership: Manage and train culinary and kitchen staff, including chef managers and hourly employees, ensuring best practice food production and high standards for food presentation and service.
• Guest Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and guests, engaging directly with guests daily to ensure satisfaction.
• Culinary Standards: Implement and maintain quality standards in food preparation, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations and culinary techniques.
• Team Development: Coach and develop the team, manage performance, maintain training records, and recognize achievements.
• Menu Execution: Oversee the production and presentation of culinary items, maintain menu integrity, and adapt to local culinary trends.
• Operational Excellence: Manage food and labor targets, monitor waste, and ensure compliance with procurement and operational policies.
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee supply chain activities, ensuring authorized suppliers and accurate food requisitions.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7–10 years of culinary management experience, preferably in high-volume catering or concessions within sports or entertainment venues.
• Skills: Strong leadership skills, with a focus on culinary excellence, staff development, and customer engagement.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of food safety and quality standards, supply chain processes, and operational fundamentals.
