Location: Two Ten Oyster Bar & Grill- 210 Salt Pond Road, Wakefield, RI, 02879
Position: Executive Chef
Schedule: Create your own schedule- Minimum 50 hours per week
Primary Responsibilities:
Menu Development
-Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
-Innovate new dishes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
Kitchen Management
-Supervise kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, prep cooks, and dish washers
-Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
-Scheduling for entire kitchen staff
-Oversee inventory and manage food costs
-Management of a high-volume kitchen
Quality Control
-Maintain highest standards for food quality and presentation
-Monitor food prep, portion sizes to ensure consistency & quality
Budgeting, Financials, and Vendor Relations
-Manage kitchen budget through ordering, staff scheduling, portion control etc.
-Analyze food costs and adjust menus and inventory accordingly to maximize profits
-Source and negotiate with food suppliers
Key Skills & Qualifications
-5 Years of experience as an Executive Chef
-Strong leadership & management skills
-Creativity and innovation in menu design & dish presentation
-Knowledge of health safety and food hygiene regulations
-Certified food Safety Manager in the State of Rhode Island
-Communication skills & interpersonal skills to work closely with owners and staff
