**Job Summary:**
Seeking a seasoned, talented Executive Chef for a successful and growing Restaurant Brand. This position is for a new restaurant opening planned for the next few months. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day culinary operations, executing recipes, developing new dishes, coordinating food and kitchenware orders, ensuring ingredient freshness and quality, supervising a kitchen team, and working with management to create a memorable guest experience.
**Executive Chef Responsibilities:**
- Oversee day-to-day culinary operations of a high-volume, scratch-made kitchen
- Execute recipes and develop new seasonal dishes
- Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients
- Supervise a high-performing kitchen team
- Maintain smooth kitchen operations even during peak seasons
- Collaborate with management to enhance the brand's reputation through culinary excellence
**Executive Chef Qualifications:**
- A seasoned culinary leader with experience in corporate or high-volume restaurant environments
- Minimum of 7 years experience running fine dining restaurants over $5M in revenue
- Proficiency in scratch cooking and passion for food and culinary arts
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Knowledge of cost and labor management systems
- Experience with seafood and raw bar preparation
- Demonstrated ability to uphold quality, safety, and sanitation standards
**New Restaurant Opening Qualifications:**
- Collaborate with GM and Owners to set up the kitchen for a high-volume, fine dining concept
- Build and maintain a quality kitchen team
- Flexible schedule and willingness to put in extra hours for a successful restaurant launch and operation
